STEAMLabs Presents… Epic Robots!
Our Web Controlled Arduino Robotics summer camp has come to an end and several happy campers are leaving with epic robots! Check out what these kids have built at STEAMLabs–it might inspire you to create some awesome robots of your own.
Charades!
We understand that sometimes kids don’t like to speak in front of big groups, so we decided to let them show us their ideas through charades at our Web Controlled Arduino Robotics Camp.
Watch this kid explain 3D printing
Kids are learning lots of things at STEAMLabs summer camps. Check out what this kid learned about 3D printing:

Have you ever wondered what goes on at a STEAMLabs summer camp? Well, today we’ve decided to give you a sneak peak into the Web Controlled Arduino Robotics camp by sharing the activities we have planned for a very important day: day one!
Introducing… Jade Robots!
Every year, new technology makes the maker movement more accessible to everyone. The tech does more every year and the costs only get cheaper. And every year, STEAMLabs gets to incorporate some of this awesome new tech into our programs.
IoT For Educators
Two weeks ago STEAMLabs founder Andy Forest ran the first workshop for editors based on our IoT–Internet of Things–curriculum. A group of 15 educators–teachers, librarians and more–gathered to discover how they can bring robotics to the young people they work with. Several had experimented with one form of code or another and some were completely new to the world of programming. All of them showed up excited to learn.
