AI Animated Slogan

AI has become sophisticated enough to be a useful sidekick for all kinds of creative tasks such as writing and visual art. Using AI tools in this way prepares you for a future where AI is your assistant, not your replacement. In this workshop, you will use an AI to help you generate, animate and analyse a slogan for your group of friends, your sports team, your family or your gaming group.

The GPT2 AI model from OpenAI takes a starting text “prompt” from you, and continues writing from there. You will first develop the thinking skill of “prompt engineering” to get this AI model to generate a slogan that contains all the aspects most important to you.

Over the years, We have associate colours with different moods that we feel. For example: the colour grey we associate it with being sad and gloomy and green we associate with the environment. Often times, we put different colours with slogans as well. We can also understand the mood from slogans, such as: Nike slogan “Just Do It” is an inspiring slogan, or Disneyland “The happiest place on earth” is a joyous slogan. Well, now we can actually teach AI to do the same thing! 

Slogans, mood and color detection

AI can be taught to detect the intent of a slogan using Natural Language Processing. In this workshop after you create your slogan, you will use another AI to analyse its mood. As mentioned, we tend to associate moods to a colour so our AI model will also do the same! It will give you 2 colour suggestions to go along with it. If you don’t agree with either the mood or the colours you can change the AI’s suggestion.

Colour Palette

Then you will use those colours to generate colour palette. The colour palettes will be different shades of your colour choice. You can choose your favorite colour palette and save it to generate an animation. You will then be able to generate your own animation for your slogan using the colour palette that you choose! This is one of the many ways that art can be brought in and integrated with AI and technology.

Finally, you will plug your slogan, mood and colour palette into one more bit of code that will generate an animation. You will again tweak the animation code as you desire to end up with your personal amazing animated slogan!
