Imagineering is a explorative class that introduces the fundamental skills of making and programming. Students in this program will take part in activities that develop 21st century learning skills through hands-on activities and making.

Program Details
Imagineers will spend the first three weeks familiarizing themselves with the tools and technologies available in our space: Laser cutting, 3D Printing, programmable microcontrollers and electronics components.
After completing these introductory lessons, students will be given the remainder of the sessions to apply their new found fabrication skills to a hands-on project using various materials and digital fabrication software and tools (3D printers and the laser cutter). By focusing on these proficiencies, students can develop a more permanent understanding of concepts in design processes and computer programming, which translate to making and beyond.

$270 / 7 week program (+ optional $60 robotics starter kit)
We offer an optional $60 robotics kit that you can use to take your project home and continue experimenting with it. This kit includes several basic parts to complete a robotics project and can be reused for future programs at STEAMLabs and beyond! If your child is interested in exploring robotics in this class and using it in their project, this kit can also be purchased afterwards with the instructor.

1. Before and after care is bookable by the hour each day of camp; purchase as little or as much you need 2. Select the program(s) you would like to enroll your camper in through our enrollment portal. Follow prompts to add on extras like before/after care & lunches, complete forms and process payment. 3. Repeat for additional campers.
If your child has a kit from a previous program that they would like to disassemble to reuse kit parts, please sign up for the program without kit at check out.
