Maker Educator Exchange Program | Fall 2017

For educators who want to learn maker skills, technologies and teaching methodologies.

Maker Education is an interest-lead pedagogical style where learners design, plan, prototype and iterate on their very own physical projects.

In this program participants will learn Maker skills, principles, tools & technologies as part of the Maker Educator Boot Camp in fall, and will then have the opportunity to apply these skills as a mentor at our kids Winter Camp.

No previous technology experience is required, we’ll take you from the ground up.

Application Deadline for Fall / Winter Exchange Program: October 10th, 5pm

Commitment: While some accommodations can be made regarding attendance in emergent / urgent scenarios, preference is given to applicants who are able to commit to attending all sessions in both the Boot Camp and Winter Camp.

Age restrictions: While there isn’t an official minimum age requirement to apply to any of our programs at STEAMLabs, it is useful for us to identify younger applicants so that we can have a conversation about your readiness for the program – hence the question in our application form.
