CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 10% fee when you cancel more than a month before program start date
  • 50% fee when you cancel between 1-4 weeks before program start date
  • No refund or cancellations within a week before program start date

Generalist Maker Boot Camp

Generalist Maker Boot Camp is an intensive 10 session course designed for beginner makers who want to learn All The Things, and include a four month STEAMLabs Maker Space Membership for participants to continue working on their projects.

If you’re itching to make things, are unsure where to start, and/or have seeds of ideas that you’re ready to make real, then this is the course for you.

Face time is 3 hours, once a week, for 10 weeks. Sessions are part theory, part tool/skill training and part project development.

Maker Boot Camp Generalist includes the following core topics:

  • Designing in 2D & 3D
  • 3D printing training + certification
  • Laser cutter training + certification
  • Electronics + Soldering
  • Arduino + Robotics

$560 + HST per person (includes materials & 4 month membership)

note: if the front door is locked, please use our back entrance at 49 Cameron Street, accessible through the green P parking lots 200m south of the building.

 

What to bring

No need to bring anything other than yourself and a device for taking notes (note pad & pen, tablet etc.) We default to supplying computers for you, but if you’d like to bring your own, please do!
